Mattapoisett
We meet our guests at one of two locations in Mattapoisett depending on the conditions that day. We will contact you in advance to tell you which one it will be. They are a four minute walk, or a one minute drive, from each other.
Location One
The town wharfs, 8 Water Street
The town has a complex of wharfs at 8 Water Street. When you first drive in and are facing the water, starting from the rightmost wharf and moving left, you will have before you Mello Wharf, the boat ramp (David Todd), Middle Wharf (Makuck), Long Wharf (Freddie Brownell) and Holmes Wharf.
We will do our best to let you know which one we are tied up to before you arrive.
Location Two
Town Beach and Barstow Wharf
Further east on Water Street, next to 30 Water Street, is the Town Beach and Barstow Wharf. We sometimes bring the vessel to this wharf, and sometimes meet you with the launch service to pick you up, depending on the weather conditions.
There is parking in the dirt lot closest to the wharf. You will not need a beach sticker if you are going out on a sailing charter.
