Before You Sail
What to Bring
A short list. We handle the boat; you handle the picnic.
On your feet
Soft-soled shoes or bare feet. Deck shoes are ideal; anything with a dark or hard sole is not.
An extra layer
More than you think you need. It is consistently cooler on the water than ashore, especially on a sunset sail.
Sun protection
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. There is shade under the bimini but the sun finds you anyway.
Food and drink
Whatever you like. Beer and wine are fine, though we ask that you leave red wine ashore. We do not supply alcohol or ice.
Swimsuits and towels
If you think you might want to swim. There is a stern platform, a swimming ladder, and a hot and cold fresh water shower.
Soft bags
They stow better than hard suitcases. Space below is generous but not unlimited.
Please Leave Ashore
Not permitted aboard
Anything deeply pigmented enough to permanently stain fiberglass and gelcoat: red wine, sangria, red juices, berries, cherries, beets, turmeric.
Marijuana and other controlled substances, which federal law governs on these waters. No smoking or vaping in any form.
Everything else you would normally bring for a day on the water is welcome. The FAQ covers the details.
Aboard For You
